Soil, which produces 10 times more carbon dioxide annually than all of mankind combined, might release a lot less CO2 than most global warming models predicted, says Cornell University Professor Johannes Lehmann.
Lehmann and colleagues measured carbon in content in Australian soil and found much more than expected, meaning the land is releasing about 20 percent less carbon to the atmosphere than scientists had thought. Since soil carbon dioxide emission is calculated into global warming models, Lehmann's finding could have broad implications in predicting the impact and pace of global warming.
Maybe we SHOULD pave paradise and put up a parking lot ... we might just save the Earth. hehe

Another silly thing from Old Pueblo newsmedia. What time does the big yellow taxi arrive, B. Poole?

Anyway, here's an okay site

NB: There's a Tucson/UA connection there that one would think would drive moneygrubbing Old Pueblo media out their minds with material to present to you...

Don't look now, but an ice age is coming.

Golly. So one patch of soil in Australia is not producing as much Co2 as predicted. Golly.

When you find a penny on the ground, do you assume that the theory of supply and demand has also just been debunked?

Don't look now, but both the sum total of CO2 in the atmosphere, as well as the rate of growth for C02 being dumped into the atmosphere is also progressing much faster than the models predicted.

I can't wait for liberal enviro-mongers to jump on this as it is not drinking their Kool-Aid.
Instead enviro liberal facists want to use "global warming" as an excuse for nationalizing energy production, promoting socialism, talking away self-determination form countries and levying huge taxes on the people.

If you're not familiar with TED, here's something you need to view on prioritizing solutions to the problems of the world:

Global warming comes in last.

A fun idea:

Regardless of whether global warming is man-made or not, it will benefit the U.S. to develop alternate energy for our national security as well the economy, so lets stop picking at straws and get on with it.
