AARP Tax Preparation: AARP will offer free income tax preparation for seniors and low- to middle-income taxpayers from 9 a.m. to noon at Armory Park Senior Center, 220 S. Fifth Ave. and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Wilmot Library, 530 N. Wilmot Road . Tax Preparation for Low-income Workers: The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, a local United Way partnership, provides free tax preparation for low- to moderate-income families and individuals from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Arizona Department of Revenue, 400 W. Congress St.; from 9 a.m. to noon at Chicanos Por La Causa, 200 N. Stone Ave.; from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Catalina Senior Center, 16701 N. Oracle Road; from 3 to 5 p.m. at Pima Community College, West Campus, 2202 W. Anklam Road, Room C213; from 5 to 8 p.m. at St. Philips in the Hills Church, 4440 N. Campbell Ave. Volunteers will make sure taxpayers receive every benefit available to them, including the Earned Income and Child Tax Credits. Participants are encouraged to bring their W-2s, all 1099 forms for 2005, Social Security cards for all members of the family and a copy of last year's tax return.
